About hundreds of residents located in Borno have been reported tonhabe packed up and fled for safety after a surprise attack by the terrorist sect – Boko Haram .
According to a report on GistMania, based on eyewitness account, the attack was sudden, brutal and ended on a bad note.
The eyewitness said:
“They came around 9:20pm, shooting sporadically, so we ran into bush. When we returned this morning, our houses had been looted and set ablaze, and food items carted away,” Bukar Babagana, a resident of Sajeri, told Gistmania.
“Three persons were killed. One Islamic cleric, Mallam Ali, was shot in the head, while two others were attacked with machetes.”
