The Ceremonies and Symbols Committee announced on Monday that the initiators of the Beresheet space project will light a torch at the official Independence Day ceremony.

SpaceIL president Morris Kahn and one of the three initiators of the project, Kfir Damari will light a torch as part of country’s 71st Independence Day ceremonies.
