Google is set to release its first set of non-flagship Pixel phones in the near future. The devices, the Pixel 3a and 3a XL, have leaked extensively over the past few months; reports claim they could be unveiled officially in the first week of May. Pricing details have been mostly speculative so far, but more information has now surfaced, giving us more clues on how much the mid-range Pixels will go for.

It comes in the form of what appears to be a Canadian carrier listing the devices with their respective price tags. Going by the image, Sargo, the Pixel 3a will retail for $649. Bonito, the Pixel 3a XL, will have a price tag of $799.

Of course, those figures are in Canadian Dollars, as opposed to the weightier US numbers. Converting them into USD yields US$485 and US$597 for the Pixel 3a and 3a XL respectively.

It’s important to note that the regular retail price in the US will likely be much lower. For one, those appear to be carrier prices, which are generally higher than factory unlocked models. Second, phones are usually more expensive in Canada. Considering both factors, we expect the Pixel 3a to have an MSRP of US$400, and the 3a XL to cost US$500. Previous information supports that idea, too.
