If you have any Apple products, such as a MacBook, you will be familiar with Dark Mode.

Well, it’s finally coming to iPhones and iPads in the upcoming iOS 13 update scheduled for release later this year.

According to 9to5Mac’s sources, the update will bring Dark Mode, which can be enabled in Settings and will include a high contrast version which is similar to what is already on the macOS.

Dark Mode makes it easier for users to focus on their work because it makes whatever you’re focused on stand out whilst darkening controls and having other windows recede in the background.

It will be a useful update for people who use their phones to do lots of things at once.

That’s not to the only update that is likely to come to the iPhone and iPad. Apps will have multiple windows, and a new undo gesture will be introduced for text input on the iPad.

There will also be a redesigned Reminders app and the Mail app will be getting smarter as well; it will organise messages into categories like marketing, purchases, travel, not important and more.

The updates are expected to unveiled at Apple’s annual WorldWide Developers Conference on 3 June.
